Our guide was very knowledgeable across several historic periods. Really liked the info on the Yorktown WWII and Viet Nam service history. It was great seeing landmarks from the harbor perspective. The weather was a Misty rain, but still an enjoyable cruise. Also enjoyed our guide’s personal stories. In my view, the success of one of these cruises, carriage rides or guided walks is dependent upon the knowledge and delivery of the guide. The guide on this particular cruise was exceptional. He claimed to be a Charleston native and based on the stories he told and his understanding of the history of Charleston I have no reason to doubt him. This cruise was more informative and entertaining than any previous experiences I have had.
