We had visited the Museum of Anthropology years ago and found it amazing, but we didn't feel we had enough time. This time, with a guide, we saw far less of the museum, but we learned a lot more. I would recommend taking the tour, then returning on your own. Give yourself a lot of time. From there, we walked to Chapultapec Castle to continue the tour. We ended after 4 hours (instead of 6) but I think the group was tired and hungry and our brains were full by then. If you are not up for a lot of walking and standing, be sure to mention it while scheduling. There isn't a lunch scheduled, so bring snacks. Our guide allowed us to stop and buy some food and cold drinks in Chapultapec Park, which got us through. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable. I really enjoyed gaining a better understanding of the symbols and context for the exhibits.

A very good guide, very nice. Has knowledge of the history of Mexico as well as the musts and speaks very good easy-to-understand English. We recommend. Very good guide, really friendly an kind. Huge knowledge about Mexican Historie and the museums. Speaking good, easy for us to understand English. We recommend him.

It is enough for two / three days. the museum is very large and diverse. the tour is highly recommended to get to know the history of Mexico. Our guide Antonio was very, very kind and explained everything in detail.

The best way to view the museo de antropología and the Castillo de Chapultepec is through this guided tour.
