Great excursion!

I was a little skeptical when I saw the price for this excursion. Typically they're twice as much when you purchase from the cruise ship, so I was worried that it would be a bust. I am happy to say I was COMPLETELY wrong! The cab ride prices were exactly as predicted in the information packet. The beach was beautiful; not too crowded. Staff was friendly and attentive. The snorkeling was outstanding, and they made you feel safe while going out into the deep waters. Food and drinks were great, and they had clean restrooms. I could go on and on about how great it was. Overall the excursion is worth it, and my family will return in the future. I will say the only downfall (a very small one at that) is that they have free wifi, but it didn't seem to be working very well. It was mostly my kids trying to use it, so I'm glad it didn't work so they could focus on the nature in front of them. Keep it up Playa Uvas!!!

This was by far our FAVORITE excursion on our cruise. For starters, it's an easy 5-minute taxi ride from the Ship Pier. And since we had purchased our tickets online (you will save a lot doing that in advance), we breezed into the complex and were shown the lunch hut, the snorkel building, and the shaded beach chairs. We loved everything about this place! The included lunch was awesome and the snorkeling was terrific. The water is clear and clean and warm and the white sand is beautiful. We pretty much stayed on the beach/swimming side all day, but there's another side too -- a pool and a marine park with dolphin and sea lion shows. You can't go wrong booking this excursion! Be sure to buy the one that includes lunch and snorkeling! The park closes at 4 pm, which worked out well for us since we had to be back at the Ship by 4.30 pm, but we wished we could have stayed far longer.

Great relaxing getaway with terrific staff.

We arrived at Playa Uvas on Saturday May 19, 2012. It was a short taxi ride from the Carnival cruise ship. My wife and I had a terrific time. Carmen was very informative upon our arrival and introduced us to the staff. My wife especially enjoyed her massage by Christina. Oscar, Cesar and Joachim provided excellent attentive and friendly service. Rios provided outstanding snorkel lessons. I would highly recommend to others to consider this place for a relaxing time. There may be fancier places but the food, service and friendliness with a clean beach and away from the crowds made us very happy we selected Playa Uvas for our Cozumel excursion.

We really enjoyed the snorkeling! Much better than a previous experience! It was great to leisurely swim around at our own pace. And the reef was fabulous! I was a little disappointed in the lunch. There was no buffet, as advertised. But the food was decent and we lucky enough to have very few people in the park.

We had a super divine time. Playa Uvas a completely quiet, fun place and its people very attentive to everything we need and that we could offer. I recommend it.
