  • Santorini: Full-Day Tour from Crete

    4. Santorini: Full-Day Tour from Crete

Visit Santorini, the island neighboring Crete, and enjoy a short cruise in just 1 day. After pick-up from your hotel, head to the harbor and begin your 4-hour boat tour on the Cretan Sea. Upon arrival, see the white houses of Fira that lie high above the edge of the crater, and decide whether you would like to spend more time on this volcanic island. Wander the small town of Fira or visit the picturesque town of Oia. Enjoy the leisurely Greek lifestyle and visit a taverna or 2. Relax on the beach, enjoy the day by the sea, and simply leave your cares behind.

Well organized. I left from Rethymno. It would have been a better tour if the ferry trip had taken 2 hours in each direction and the extra 2 hours could behave been spent between Oia and Fira/Thira. That said, we got to see beautiful parts of Santorini and had some time to shop and sample Santorini cuisine. A very good tour.

The bus driver and guide were great and the guide pointed out many spots along our drive to Elafonisi and spoke about the history of the island. It is a long day (pickup at 6:30am, drop off after 7pm) but it was a great way to get to Elafonisi if you don't plan on driving there and we got to spend 5 hours at Elafonisi which was amazing. The bus ride there was comfortable but it did not have a toilet and there is only 1 stop on the way there so just be prepared for that.

  • Chania: 20 Minute Paragliding Tandem Flight

    8. Chania: 20 Minute Paragliding Tandem Flight

Upon arriving at the take-off area, take some time to enjoy the beautiful views. Your pilot will begin to prepare the glider, while constantly and thoroughly checking the weather conditions. Watch him unfold the glider and deal with the hundreds of lines — a routine procedure for him. Then, gear up, putting your harness and helmet on. As your pilot prepares, he'll tell you a few things you need to know about the experience and describe how you'll feel in the air, so as to make the transition into flight easier on you. As the passenger, you'll go in front, connected to the pilot who will control the glider. He'll inflate the glider, and all you have to do is run a few steps forward. 3, 4, and you're off. There are no words to describe the feeling of flying over Chania, a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. When you are close to the ground, you and your pilot will land softly, jogging a ...

  • Day Trip to Santorini by Bus and Boat from Chania

    10. Day Trip to Santorini by Bus and Boat from Chania

Board the luxury high-speed catamaran for the 2.5-hour trip to Santorini. Enjoy an island tour by air-conditioned bus and hear informative commentary about the history of one of Greece's most romantic islands. Travel to the village of Oia at the northernmost tip of the island. The village offers magnificent views of the blue and white houses scattered on the hillside. Continue to Fira, where you'll have free time to explore the island's capital. Browse the shops or enjoy a drink at a bar with stunning views of the volcano. Swim from a black sand beach at Perissa or Perivolos. Depart for Crete at 05:45 PM, where the 13-hour trip ends in the port of Rethymno.

It was a little confusing in the beginning. We were picked up on the bus and just dropped at the port with zero explanation on what to do and where to go. We were all herded to a massive line and had to figure out what to do next. Once we were on board, about half way into the boat ride they announced what the options were when you arrived in Santorini. It’s a rushed day to see Santorini and you don’t have a lot of time but it works if you just want a quick trip to experience the island.

I’m really going to have to agree with other reviewers and say this was a fantastic tour. The trip to Bali’s lagoon for pictures was fun and informative as Nasos kept us informed about Cretan history and the local area the whole way there. He was engaging and funny and we felt at ease with him immediately. If I could book our time in Crete again, I would look to Nasos and Chania Adventures to help plan our time, it was that enjoyable! Falassarna beach was incredible. The water was so clear and beautiful to swim in and we had a very relaxing time in our sun chairs and umbrellas. So glad we started our trip with Nasos and would definitely recommend his services as a guide and this tour!

Excellent organization, the guide's explanations were very interesting. The stops were judicious (lunch, meal) and without obligation ... Much better than some trips where you are forced to visit a cellar or a factory ;-) The driver was competent. Very nice experience!

Bus was a bit delayed in the morning. Other than that timeframes were kept, our tour guide was lovely, elafonisi beach is gorgeous. We also had a stop at a cave with a church built in - gorgeous! and another stop upon return to a small village for lunch. Would recommend

Great day owner was so knowledgeable about the area great music on board
