You will start your day meeting at the cooking school, nestled down a bustling road right next to a fresh market. If you have booked the morning tour, you will head to the market and have your teacher show you where the fresh ingredients are purchased - a real experience of the sights and smells of the city.  Your talented chef will then bring these ingredients to life as they help you to make five authentic dishes. The menu changes daily but it's likely you will get the chance to create a delicious fragrant curry, some sweet mango sticky rice, crispy hand-rolled spring rolls, and some famous Pad Thai.  The meal preparation will be followed by a sit-down meal with your group to enjoy the incredible dishes you have created. Not to worry that you will forget your new skills after the course you will be sent an email with all the recipes from the day so you can recreate these back at home and impress your friends and family.

Your experience will begin at 8:15AM, when you meet your guide at the Sathorn Pier. At 8:30AM, you'll take an Express Boat from Sathorn Pier to Yod Piman Pier where you'll start learning about the Pak Klong Talad community. Following that, you'll begin walking to the flower shop where you will begin to decorate your flower. After your class, you can choose to offer your flower to the statue of King Rama the 1st, or can opt instead to take it home. Following your class, you'll walk through the flower market to learn about Thai flowers and local cuisine. On this walking tour you'll also learn about the 3 religions of the area. You'll soon end your talking tour of the flower market, at which point you will continue on to visit Indian Town. At 1:15PM your tour will conclude, at which point you will be dropped off at China Town.

Your first day will begin in the morning, as you travel to the local Thai house by car and boat. Once there you will enjoy your first cooking class, which will be comprised of 5 dishes. Learn how to cook tom yum kong (hot and sour prawn soup), pad thai (popular Thai fried noodles), laab moo (a spicy pork salad), panaeng neua (beef in sweet peanut sauce), and kang gari gai (yellow curry with chicken and sweet potato). You will also learn how to make a curry paste, a staple of traditional Thai cuisine. Stay overnight in the house to get a feel for the rhythm of everyday local life. On the morning of your second day, head to a local market by car to peruse the produce and goods on offer.
