This was the highlight of our time in Thessaloniki! Captain Makis was funny, generous, helpful, quick to respond, and so nice! He made sure we had photos and videos of our time on the boat, which is just great not to have to think about for ourselves. He made us a delicious lunch—with wine! And snorkeling around the sunken ship was astounding. He even helped us book a transfer both ways. An incredible excursion!!! Don’t miss out.

It's worth seeing Mount Athos although, I guess out of safety reasons, the boat sailed far from the rocks. The time to lunch or swim is pretty short so I couldn't do both.

  • From Thessaloniki: Chalkidiki Blue Lagoon Cruise with Lunch

    7. From Thessaloniki: Chalkidiki Blue Lagoon Cruise with Lunch

Get picked up at your hotel or nearby location in central Thessaloniki, and then journey by bus to Ormos Panagias for the start of your cruise to the Drenia islands complex of 6 tiny islets. Cool down with a refreshing swim and snorkel with the marine life on arrival, and then enjoy a tasty lunch on the beach. Next, sail to Ammouliani island for a coffee or another chance to swim in the crystal clear waters. Go for a stroll around the village to get an appreciation for everyday life in Greece.  Stop for another swim close to the village of Vourvourou and between the Diaporos islands as you cruise back towards Ormos Panagias. Look for seagulls and dolphins in their natural environment and listen to some authentic Greek bouzouki music along the way.

It's definitely worth a trip as the water is so beautiful! The 3 stops each had their own uniqueness. MT Tours organised the trip. The coach pick-up was very confusing as our pick-up location changed at short notice. We were told to go to a remote area with no landmarks nearby. The coach didn't wait although we were only 5 minutes late, this meant we paid €70 to get to the next pick-up location. The lady we spoke to in the phone was rude and unhelpful. The lunch provided was awful so I would've much preferred using my time to stay in the water. The 2nd stop at Ammouliani had great little shops and food places, I'd recommend eating there instead. The day itself apart from this was a great experience and the scenery was breath taking.

We had an unforgettable day sailing to Shipwreck Bay! The captain is a very friendly, accommodating and funny man who makes you feel safe and made us a super delicious lunch. From the boat we were able to swim to the beach, snorkel and explore the shipwreck. Afterwards there was still time to sunbathe and swing from the boat with the "liana" - a perfect trip that is absolutely recommended.

The guide was super nice and explained a lot to us beginners. We dived at an incredibly beautiful dive site and really got a lot to see for our money. On the positive side, the diving instructor realized on the day of the dive that the risk of a weather change was too high and we could still catch up on this flexibly the next day. Always happy.

This trip is excellent value for money! A 3 hour round trip on the boat, collected and delivered back to our hotel and only €20 euros pp.

An amazing trip. Relaxing, no hurry at all. Thanks a lot to our guide Yanis.

Emilios was at and so patient with us, we had a great time!
