Before you go, make sure you know that the monasteries will NOT accept cards, so you must bring cash. The tour guide may make a stop at an ATM like Elena did for us, but if you cannot get cash you are out of luck. But we did have luck, and it was Elena, who let us borrow 20 euro so that we were able to enter all the available monasteries. Elena, if you are able to read this, a huge THANK YOU to you once again, you really made our trip a wonderful one!
