We only used this as a transfer not a tour. We loved the early time. Got there before the HUGE crowds and saw the Black Madonna without any wait. So with it to get there early! We hiked all up the mountain and down and my husband took the funicular down. If you like to hike come here. Always use Google maps to find meetings places here in Barcelona. Apple Maps is not as accurate.

Everything was on-time, we had great explanations and context from Miquel, he made a very pleasant trip and improved the experience a lot, we were able to visit the Madonna without rush and had a great time. Monserrat is a wonderful place with a mix of nature-architecture-spiritually that makes it unique.

Am fost deosebit de incantat de geniul arhitectural al marelui Gaudi. Sunt impresii greu de descris in cuvinte care imi vor ramane mereu vii in minte. Merita din plin sa traiti aceasta experienta.

the view is amazing! and the guide really helped me to better understand the history and significance of the park.

The tour and lunch is worth it. Leaves mid morning, gets back early evening. Good day trip.
