a well-organised and every enjoyable trip

The organisation of the trip was very efficient and all those concerned (the guide and driver on the mini-bus and the guides for the climb) were friendly and competent. The climb itself was strenuous (mainly because of the heat and humidity) - it was a little disappointing not to have a more extensive view at the top. The descent took longer than the ascent - perhaps because of the slipperiness of the rocks and tree-roots. We were taken for lunch to a restaurant above Soufriere with splendid views of the Pitons (I had expected nothing more than a packed lunch on the climb itself). Altogether a highly enjoyable day out and one I would strongly recommend.
