Of course in Sintra one must visit Pena & other palaces, and Quinta de Regaleira. But there are so many MORE gems that are hidden as well. This tour is a must to actually learn about traditional life in Portugal (which the normal tourist sites do not show at all). And Filipe was a fantastic tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and very fun. He obviously loves his country as well. If all you want to learn is who built a chair in a palace, this is not the tour for you - stick with the run-of-the-mill palace tours. But if you want to know what life was like in the small village, call Filipe. You won’t be disappointed.

The whole tour is amazing, full of experience. There is plenty of time for enjoying and exploring at each stop of the tour. Tania is a great guide, she was so nice and understanding, easy to communicate. She gave as all the info we needed about the historical places and the whole area. Also she was full of fun facts and great stories about Portuguese history. I fully reccomend it!

Nelson and the Mountain Goat( the 4x4) was amazing. Very nice, spoke excellent English, knew alot about the places we were visiting and was just really awesome

It was a very good program with super staff. I recommend to everyone.

Friendly and helpful crew! It was a nice trip with a lot of fish.
