What people are saying about Casablanca-Settat

As is my way, I’ll start with the only con: I wish the description plainly said how long the drive is. It took us 5.5hrs to get there and 5hrs back, leaving us just under 4hrs for the visit. The driver did stop about 2/3 of the way on each leg to use the washroom, grab a drink/snack, etc. That said: if you are staying in Casa and have a free day, this trip is *well* worth it. Chef is an incredibly unique experience and just about one of the most photogenic cities we’ve been to. The driver was exceptional, and the guide a knowledgeable and friendly local. We were taken to just a few vendors, and we were clear we weren’t looking to shop and so there was no further hard-selling. I get it, everyone has to have their hustle. Even in a short time, the guide gave us a ton of history and showed us all the major spots. The lunch on the terrace facing the Alkasba was exceptional. We would absolutely visit this city again, next time for more than just a few hours.

Both Abdel the guide and Sabi our driver were tip-top. Incredible service and kindness all around. They provided very personalized service, even skipping things on the planned tour we’d already seen (which we would have been ok with doing — we knew what we signed up for) to see a few different things on the same route. All of the GYG trips booked in Morocco were exceptional.

Great organization thanks to a great guide. Entertaining entertainment in the car with lots of information and a stop to eat breakfast like a local. Great place for lunch. The city guide Amina was also outstanding. She is the only female tour guide and with a lot of charm we are also in hidden places. The coordination between the two tour guides was perfect

This was an excellent overview of Casablanca. It was so nice being in the air conditioned car but we also did a fair amount of walking. Our guide was very informative and when we asked to see things that were not on his route he was able to adjust and make it happen. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide, Abdel, was knowledgeable and personable. He answered our many questions and remained good natured. He was thoughtful with our group and even got us mint tea and a snack. We highly recommend him!
