Full description
Explore the imperial city of Marrakech on a full-day tour from Casablanca, available as a group or private tour option. Transfer from Casablanca and travel by air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival, take a sightseeing tour of the city's historic landmarks, starting with an exterior view of the Koutoubia Mosque. Marvel at its minaret towers and golden domes (the mosque is closed to non-Muslims, but you can still explore the impressive grounds). Continue to Menara Gardens and admire the pyramid-shaped pavilion, set against a backdrop of the Atlas Mountains. Learn the history of this 12th-century site, before going to the Saadian Tombs of the 15th-century era of sultan Ahmad al-Mansur. Next, admire the setting and gardens of Bahia Palace, designed to capture the essence of both Islamic and Moroccan styles. Break for lunch, before strolling the narrow, medieval streets of the medina. Make your way past dozens of tiny shops and artisan workshops to the vast Djemaa el-Fna Square. Soak up the open-air theater atmosphere and non-stop entertainment from storytellers, singers, acrobats, snake charmers, monkey tamers, and more. good, but we were scared by guide to shop on old market saying they will have all items on the last shop we will go, well turns out they dont and we ended up not getting some aouvenirs we wanted to buy. the guide was knowledgable and veru helpful but wish there is guided time for ahopping souvenirs in market.. also a little hiccup on the camel ride, they said we were late and no more camel ride, but we have to insist so the driver was helpfil enough to look foe other came ride operators as we werent going home without the camel ride

Would advice a different agency though (easy transfers will ditch you if it is in their convenience, even though you booked a month in advance: in the end switched this trip with another we had booked with them. We were guaranteed an compensated lunch, but at the day no one knew about it and after a lot of calls it was OK, but after our order the guide came and spoke about a misunderstanding, there was a maximum of 20€ (10pp) he could give. Well.. Besides, nice to see. You don't really visit the medina and shops, though a few shops with a sales pitch (same a you would when you book a daytrip to Fez, only there you see more of the medina/shops) Nice guide, took his time to tell his story in English, too bad he also had to do it in French (mixed group).. The 'camel'ride was a lot of fun though! Do this trip with another company and you will have a perfect day!

Transportation provided, Ahmed told great stories to keep us entertained. Palace is good to see, very crowded. We took up a lot of time at each location which cut into our time to spend at the medina. Lunch was good. I wish all the extras were just added to the price of the ticket, Palace, Lunch and Garden are extra.
