Our guide was excellent. He gave us a fantastic walking tour and paid for us to have snacks and drinks. It should be noted that the meeting place is only steps from the Cruise Ship in Cartagena. In deciding whether to use GetYourGuide or ship excursions, GetYourGuide will win every time. The guides the ship uses are intellectuals, fountains of knowledge, but their English is extremely difficult to understand. It is not conversational, but formal and stilted. They think it is useful to bombard you with dates and the details of various regimes. A good guide will weave a narrative that will capture your interest and give you a feel for what you are seeing and what it meant to those who built it as well as those who inhabit the area today.

Excellent and thorough personalized detailed historical tour of the old city and ruins. We learned so Much about the historic significance of Cartagena in modern Spain. Our guide knew all the answers to our questions and we loved imagining the Roman ruins beneath then city. Bruno also took us through the Roman ruins museum which is a beautiful restoration. His detailed stories helped us to truly understand why we were actually seeing. Highly reccomend! We could not have understood and experienced Cartagena without Bruno’s insights!

Our guide very good. We learned a great deal about the city. The food & drink was good and different than anything we’ve had before.

Very well done. Guide very knowledgeable. Very nice museum, it give you a good idea of the area ruins.

Wonderful experience! Way more than we were expecting.
