Cartagena has done a fabulous job of presenting this incredible find. The museum walk-thru was beautifully done. However, the tour groups with guides were so large and loud it was difficult to enjoy our experience. We had made paid arrangements to use the audio guides before we went…did not see it as a walk-in offer…but suggest it for the tour. It is a WIFI walk thru guide that picks up each room. Wish it could have had a repeat button because due to the loud tour groups and guides we couldn’t hear our own audio guide well. Do go. It’s an incredible discovered theatre. Just wish they would control tour group vs. individual tours better.

There is not a single indication anywhere, when you find an entrance it turns out that it is an exit and the boy who is opening the door is in a sentry box inside, so good luck if he goes out the door and you manage to ask him ... .At the end the entrance is in the square and there is a mini sign indicating ... the rest is beautiful

The experience has been very good, the treatment was great, the guide Jorge was great, if we hadn't had the guided tour it wouldn't have been the same.
