What people are saying about Carolina, San Juan

This was such a beautiful experience! I was worried about going when the moon was brighter but they covered us with a large tarp so we could still see all the bioluminescence in the water. Fair warning if you’re extremely claustrophobic, you may want to only go on the darkest nights sans tarp. Also, be aware it’s quite a long kayak journey to the bay so come with lots of energy and coordination. All worth it though!

The guides were really friendly and funny, the sunsets and bioluminescent plankton were stunning. What a fun little adventure! If you're worried about covid, know that to make sure it's as dark as possible for the bioluminescence to be visible, there's a single tarp that's used to cover all of the kayaks' occupants at one time. Bring a mask - still worth seeing. Would definitely do this one again!

This was a great trip! The tour guides were great and really allowed us to experience all of the blue lagoon. I enjoyed the 3:30pm (6pm tour) trip because we got to watch the sunset, see the mangroves in the light, and also experience the bioluminescent plankton.

Fun, educational, even saw the fish flash blue. Guides were entertaining and appreciated the snacks and drinks at the end. Good help desk to get us directions and coordinate arrival.

The guides were very nice and informative. Even though it had rained heavily recently and the glow was more dilute than usual it was still very magical.
