Carloforte is a splendid town with its own cultural identity from the rest of Sardinia (the Carlofortinis are in fact heirs of the Genoese from Pegli), but immersed in a breathtaking natural environment. Sea, cliffs, the interior of the island deserve a whole day to be visited. You arrive on the island via a 40-minute ferry trip and start the trip from Carloforte to the northernmost tip, La Punta, where there are the remains of the ancient tuna trap. We move towards the west, taking a short walk towards the beach of Cala Fico, immersed in the natural oasis of LIPU. Continue towards Capo Sandalo, the suggestive westernmost lighthouse in Italy, a scenery of unique beauty on the south west coast of the island. In the afternoon return to the town of Carloforte, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, which we will visit on foot starting from the famous statue of King Carlo Emanuele III to visit the beautiful main square, immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the carruggi, the old streets that recall the center historian of the ancient district of Pegli, in Liguria, from which the inhabitants of the island originated, who arrived in San Pietro after a significant Tabarchin parenthesis in North Africa. We will discover the exciting history and the varied and intercultural soul of this exotic island, with an unparalleled mix of traditions, language, gastronomy that acts as a bridge between Liguria, Sardinia and Africa.

We will meet in the most important mine of Sardinia in Iglesias, "Monteponi" to start our 4 hours jeep offroad private experience.
