What people are saying about Cardiff
I enjoyed every bit of the tour. We visited heaps of shooting locations and our guide had a broad knowledge about Doctor Who and Cardiff. At every location, he had photos from the respective scene in the episode, which helped to remember it. On the bus, they even showed short video clips. To my delight, most spots we visited were from episodes with Matt Smith as the Doctor. For example the cathedral from Van Gogh and the Doctor (my favourite episode!) or Clara's house. Drove through nice areas of Cardiff, so the tour was a little city tour as well. On the way back we had asked a Doctor Who quiz. It was the perfect finish. Time went really fast, it was heaps of fun and it was a lovely afternoon. I would do it again and look into other tours with them. Thank you! :)
On line said I must book on line and print voucher. difficult when a tourist. When arriving at designated stop told I could pay cash and board at any stop and there is one outside my hotel. Wanted the Sun. but on line said was full. On speaking to drivers was told Sunday was quiet so could have enjoyed it more and get off to explore as I had a lot more time.
Carry from Barry was our amazing guide for our tour - she was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable.. the whole tour took in many of the locations and we even got to go into Stacey and Gwens house .. Daves Coaches was very authentic, rough and bumpy and lacking in air conditioning but fantastic! All in all a value for money tour
The tour was very nice, especially the tour in the castle. Our host Dean was very enthousiast and he told a lot about the scenes and he gave us the feeling that we had a special and exclusive tour, just for us. ;-)
THE TOUR IS VERY INFORMATIVE. THE TOUR PROVIDED A RICH AND PROUD HISTORY OF CARDIFF AND WALES IN GENERAL. I HAVE STRONG WELSH ANCESTRY AND ENJOYED THE TOUR. I PLAN TO RETURN TO WALES AND WILL TAKE THIS TOUR AGAIN.
