What people are saying about Capri

It was a wonderful trip! Communication beforehand was handled through WhatsApp. We met in Amalfi, near all the buses, at 830am. The van was nice, Giuseppe was our driver and took us to Sorrento (about an hour drive). Once in Sorrento, we met our skipper Giovanni, who was excellent. He pointed out some of the sites around Capri during the boat trip. We dropped anchor to swim in the open water for a bit (make sure you speak up if you want to!). After the swim, we were greeted back on the boat with caprese sandwiches and beer/wine/rosé/water. We got to Capri around 1pm and had to bring all our belongings with us - pack light. We had 4 hours and it went fast. Take the bus or taxi into Town Center for better restaurants. The more tourist-type restaurants are close to the marina grande. We recommend doing the chair life first, takes about 30 min roundtrip. We met back at boat at 5pm, taking us back to Sorrento where Giuseppe was waiting to drive us back to Amalfi. We loved the trip!!

Great tour at a good price. The ticket booth is on a corner facing the dock from which the boat leaves. There were plenty of seats in the covered inside area below or outside on the top deck. The boat operators point out sights and give a little information about the area in several languages, and they turn the boat in such a way that people sitting on both sides of the boat can see. When they get to the Blue Grotto, those who want can pay extra (I think €14), transfer into small rowboats and go into the grotto, about 6-8 people per rowboat. We skipped that, but those on our tour who did go were in the grotto for about 10-15 minutes and said it was nice but not spectacular. The entire tour took about 2 hours, including the time spent waiting at the Blue Grotto. The views of the island from boat are amazing, definitely worth doing!

This tour was so amazing!! Our guide spoke both English & Italian. We were able to get on our tour earlier than scheduled. He pointed out the history of all the scenery. Would give this tour 10 stars if I could & a great price!! Definitely worth it if you’re looking for a fun time in Capri. Only downside was that the Blue Grotto was closed at the time we went but would definitely love to go back!

The blue grotto was not open on the day of our tour but it didn’t detract from our boat tour experience at all. The day was sunny and the water and stone formations on Capri were beautiful! Our boat captain was really experienced and got very close to the white and green grottoes so that we can taken some gorgeous pictures. Overall a wonderful experience!

Great boat ride around Capri with highlights of the island pointed out!
