Full description
Set sail from the port at Marina Grande and enjoy a relaxing cruise around the rugged coast of Capri. See the highlights of the glamorous island as you pass the historic Punta Carena Lighthouse and the legendary Bagni di Tiberio (Baths of Tiberius) near a former villa of the Roman emperor. Pass the sea caves of the White Grotto and Green Grotto, named for the color of the water and the light effects of the sun. Admire the impressive sea stacks of the Faraglioni rocks and get lots of information about the island from your skipper along the way. Enter the famous Blue Grotto through a small entrance and continue to a large cave under the sea, where you will be amazed by the intense blue of the water caused by a natural phenomenon involving the sun.

We booked the blue grotto tour. Unfortunately it was closed due to the weather. We were able to upgrade our tickets by booking the tour with a swim stop instead and it was really worth it - it was great! Our guide was super funny and lovely! Unfortunately, you didn't understand English that well, but it was really a lot of fun.

Quite enjoyable little cruise around the island of Capri with all the highlights pointed out by tour guide. However no opportunity to go to the Blue Grotto with this cruise, we would have to return at a later time, 12:15 and get on another boat to go back out and wait in line of estimated 2 hours.

I recommend the boat trip around the island and the visit to the Blue Grotto. The purchase ticket does not include the visit to the Blue Grotto, only the boat tour of the island. The Blue Grotto is paid at the time of visit. If at the time of visiting the Blue Grotto the waiting time is more than one hour, the ship returns to port and you are given the opportunity to visit it on a trip in which only the visit of said Grotto is made. The Blue Grotto can only be entered on a small boat that holds four travelers. It is necessary to have about two hours to take the boat trip around the island and visit the Blue Grotto. We traveled from the port of Naples on a ferry that left at 08:05 a.m. and returned at 7:10 p.m.
