Full description
After pick–up from your hotel at around 9:00 AM, start your full day Cappadocia tour. Your first stop will be the Derinkuyu Underground City, one of the deepest and most fascinating multilevel underground settlements of Cappadocia. This incredible underground world contains courtyards, stables, churches and wineries all intertwined in an extensive network of tunnels. From here, drive to Ihlara Valley and walk about 4 kilometers along the Melendiz River in the valley exploring the hidden cave churches. At the end of the hike, reach Belisirma Village and sit down for lunch at a local restaurant nearby the river. After lunch, make a short photo stop at Yaprakhisar Panorama and see the viewpoint with unforgettable views of the cave village and countless fairy chimneys.  End the tour with a visit to the Selime Monastery, one of the biggest and most fascinating religious settlements in Cappadocia. This complex was carved into the rock face by monks in the 13th century. At the end of a spectacular day’s sightseeing, head back to your hotel at around 5:00 PM.

Overall a good tour for people with little interest in history and more interest in a venture than a group. I would have liked more historical depth, the depth bordered on the first section of a Wikipedia article. The visited places were all very nice but the castle Uçhisar was not there which I thought was a great pity. You have to go there alone. At lunch you can choose between fish, köfte, minced beef and chicken slices. The fish was especially delicious.

I chose this tour because I was interested in visiting the underground city, our guide was very good and I was very satisfied. If I wanted to find a negative note, I would have avoided stopping at the ceramics factory. For the rest I really recommend the excursion, a great way to enter the world of cappadocia.

The tour was fantastic and very enjoyable. However, it is not recommended for non fit person and for kids . The underground city is very nice but you need to be really fit to climb a three floor stairs in few min cause the way down and up is the same and you need to be quick The Selime monastery is a fantastic one and the view from above are breathtaking. The monastery itself and the church is simply Waw very old very humble and very beautiful. But climbing up and down is not easy and you need to be fit not recommended for children as dangerous Ihlara valley is magnificent
