Full description
Start your day with a convenient pick-up service from your hotel. Your driver/guide will be waiting here to meet you. After a short meet and greet with your driver, you will hop aboard your air-conditioned, modern vehicle and set off for your first destination of the day.  Your tour begins with a ride to Derinkuyu, here you will witness an expansive 5-level complex that forms one of the deepest and most fascinating underground settlements in Cappadocia. See the courtyards, stables, churches, and wineries that lie beneath the earth, all interconnected by an extensive network of tunnels. Next, venture to Ihlara Valley for a 2.5-mile (4-km) walk along the Melendiz River. Check out the secluded cave churches and ancient structures carved out of the valley walls on your way to the village of Belisirma for lunch at a local restaurant near the river. After lunch, make a short photo stop at Yaprakhisar for an unforgettable panorama of the cave village and fairy chimneys around you. Make your final stop at the Selime Monastery, one of the biggest and most fascinating religious settlements in Cappadocia, before you are driven back to your accommodation.

Very good, contact facilitated by the company, I arrived at the place the company was already waiting for me at the airport as agreed, very good tour, guide clarified all our doubts, with very good Portuguese, and historical knowledge of the place. We had lunch in an excellent restaurant by the river, the walk and the visits to the underground cities were very good. At the end, the guide asked if we were interested in buying artifacts from the region, giving us the option to choose the type of place. We went to an amazing handmade rug store. Excellent choice. I will do it again for sure.

We had an unforgettably beautiful day in Cappadocia. Our tour guide Ali Kaya speaks perfect German, he used to live in Berlin. He is a professional in his field, very personable and we would never have learned so much without him. The tour was private, lasted about 9 1/2 hours but was super relaxed because we were mostly driving. Since there were only 2 of us with Ali, we were able to do part of the red tour in addition to the green tour we had booked. If nature is more important to you than a tour of museums, you should choose this tour. We visited a cave town, went on a short hike with lunch (trout recommended), visited an old stone monastery (climbing around on our own was more fun than in the Göreme open-air museum) and finally visited a pottery factory (we were even allowed to make pottery themselves).
