Emotional, sad & heartbroken to hear/see Sobukwe house/prison....and the story behind.... Wish we should have seen it inside, the same as Mandela's & his fellows..... Standing & listening in the scorching sun after disembarking barking from buses was a little bit to much.... Cells visit & the story behind was too short Registers/time book, boots, etc (in 1 of the 'offices' were never explained The narration was one-sided/focused more on Rivonia Trialists We were told more about Cell No 4 & nothing about Cells 1-3, 5-????? occupants
This is living Had to constantly reschedual due to the March wind . Our instructor was a saint, keeping us posted on whatsapp. We are so happy thay we got to experience this before we left. Awesome team, it's evident that they love sharing this experience with you. We felt safe every step of the way and enjoyed every moment. Have the videos and pictures to prove it. Hands down best experience of my life Don't think about, just do it
The crew were extremely efficient and made our trip interesting and informative. The boat was comfortable and when it got cold we were given blankets to warm us. Unfortunately, because of Covid, we could not see the sunset because the sun set at 20:00 and we had to be home at 21:00 also, we could not drink champagne for the same reason! It was great fun!
The recommended hike up was incredible! We had an amazing time talking to the guys and getting ready. Next thing you know, you are gliding over unbelievable views and having the time of your life!!!! Special shout out to Marc and Spencer, you guys are awesome!
The experience was absolutely breathtaking and the guides made it even more special for us. They offered to take photos of us, ensured that we are always safe and just made the atmosphere relaxed and perfect for the occasion.
