Slightly above Average experience. The Guide was a really nice and passionate guy, he helped me understanding what was going on nowadays and how the townships were born. The tour itself was ok, it was quite commercial. They walk you around the township however it lacks a bit of depth in the life of people. Would recommend other people to go to find out what’s really going on in the townships.
Our guide was perfectly on time at the agreed upon meeting point. He was friendly and informative. Unfortunately as the weather was not great and the trip to Robben Island took longer than normal we did not manage to do all 3 activities.
Friendly, knowledgeable local guides who gave us an authentic experience. Brought the long term effects of apartheid sharply into focus for me. I hope and pray for a better multi cultural future for Capetown and South Africa
The exhibit was really monotonous. It would be nice to have more variation, even some notable permanent exhibits. Pro tip: the coffee shop on the ground floor is your best bet for coffee and a snack.
The whole tour was amazing! We visited a lot of places I haven’t heard before, our tour guide John drove us and told a lot of history information about South Africa! Highly recommended!
