The sunset at Cape Sounion was amazing, however, I felt too much time was spent there. It wasn’t a guided tour as such. We were met by someone from the tour company who joined us on the bus, however, all commentary was prerecorded .. unfortunately I fell asleep right before we arrived and missed the info relevant to the site! (Totally my fault). There is a restaurant/cafe up there and in hindsight that would have been good to grab a bite to eat or drink before entering the ruins to pass some time, as once you enter you are not supposed to get a pass out and return. The hop off/on passes are a great way to get around ... although the Port Piraeus stop is basically for the cruise passengers I think .. pulls into the carpark for people to get off and on and continues on. The audio also didn’t work when we used that line...was cracking up. The drivers are amazing!
