This was a great trip overall, but the allotted time at Chateau de Chillon was way too short and we found ourselves literally running through the castle but still ended up not seeing the upper portions (where I understand we missed seeing views of the lake). In contrast, we had way too much time in Montreux and ended up just standing around and killing time after walking the entire lakefront. The guide was great and acknowledged that an extra 30-45 minutes at Chateau de Chillon would have benefited everyone on the tour (we all expressly commented that the Chillon portion was too rushed), especially since this time could easily be cut from the stop in Montreux.

After I reached the tour operator office, I was in for a shock as I was informed the tour I had booked is cancelled due to technical reasons. Having travelled from India for rhe tour I was looking forward to it. Now whatever the reason for cancellation maybe, the guest should have been informed earlier and alternative arrangements made. An alternative option offered was not viable. I am now waiting for the refund which I hope will be soonest.

Nice cruise. Could have used more direction and information prior. Make sure to read everything about the apps and where to go. Get there early if you want a prime seat.
