Full description

Discover two of the fascinating Mayan sites in the Riviera Maya, swim in a stunning cenote, and enjoy some free time in the charming town of Playa del Carmen.

After a thorough guided tour through the well-preserved pre-Columbian buildings of the Tulum ruins, like El Castillo or The Temple of the Descending God, you will have plenty of free time to explore the site on your own. Take nice photos, Tulum is by far one of the prettiest archaeological sites in the world, overlooking the Mexican Caribbean Sea. After exploring Tulum, you'll take a journey into the jungle to the Muyil Mayan ruins site where you will see the tallest pyramid in the region, Nohoch Mul. Learn about local customs and Mayan history.

Then, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch of regional specialties. Swimming in a beautiful cenote is then the cherry on top of your day trip. After your refreshing swim, head to 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen for shopping and people-watching, before heading back to Cancún.

It was a really good value. There was so much packed into the day and it ended up being more like 14 hours instead of 11 hours from pick-up to drop-off. We enjoyed each place, but would've liked more time in Coba as it felt a little rushed and it was really nice to cool down a little in the jungle. The food was way better than I expected and it was a highlight for my 10 year old to see a Mayan village. Only improvement needed was the van. There were pieces falling apart inside and we couldnt even see our a window from the back where we were sitting. That said, I would definitely recommend.

For a last minute tour this was amazing. We booked the night before and we’re glad we did. Our tour guy Hector was great and knowledgeable. The tour gives you just enough time to explore a little bit at each location but not to much time. I would highly recommend it. Take towels and a change of clothes because the ride back gets cold.

Great activity. Hector was a fabulous guide. The Cenote, Tulum and Coba were all nice locations with lots to see. The logistics were decent with a hotel lobby pickup and dropoff and comfortable bus and vans. The transit time and stops were a little long and it turned out to be a 14hr trip for me as I was in Cancun. I found that people staying in Rivera Maya, Tulum etc had a shorter day. The Mayan Village and Playa Del Carmen beach weren't all that interesting. You should do this tour if you want to spend a full day seeing all there is to see. If you will get bored/tired after a few hours, go for the shorter trips, especially if you're staying in Cancun. All together, great value for money
