A most amazing adventure of a lifetime today at Caminito Del Rey. Truly awesome, a lifetime unforgettable experience. In Chinese mythology the origin of moon cakes and mid-autumn festival are related to a mythical princess called Chang’e who has now lived on the moon for 4000 years with her rabbits. On Christmas Day 2017 my wife and I hiked Chang’e mountain called MingYue Shan, in Jiangxi Province, traversing the same narrow nail-biting cliff hanging walkways I experienced today at Caminito del Rey . Somewhere, I have a wonderful photo of my wife standing on the nail-biting point Chang e is said to have stepped off and then flown to the moon. Today was amazing, breathtaking and truly memorable.

Great walk through nature. Along with the explanation of the walk itself and how it was made we were given additional information about the nature, animals etc.... The guide was great and the tour includes the transportation but the best part is that once you finish the tour you are back at the location where you left your car.

Even in early February this is very busy walk so book early. We had to do the guided walk to get the date we wanted which was fine but double the cost per person. Definitely worth the money for the views alone. The walk has been modified following an accident so you start and return to El Chorro so there is no shuttle bus.
