Mary Forster-Lewis was amazing. We totally loved her guiding us through the city, the information was given in an interesting, relevant, structured discussion type of guide, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Titbits of info about universities and the lives of the students current and past. Mary's vast knowledge of Cambridge meant the tour was interesting from the minute it started until the final minute. Hugely enjoyable.
I would recommend doing this trip at start of day as it helped me orientate myself and decide which bits I wanted to return to. Dr Sonja was a wealth of information and was able to answer all our questions. She also recommended some other things to do that we would have missed had she not recommended them. We came away feeling a lot more knowledgable about Cambridge and it’s beautiful colleges.
Claudia was a lovely friendly well informed guide who really enjoyed her job. We saw lots of colleges and sights of Cambridge centre and heard a lot interesting facts and information about the history and current state of Cambridge university. P
It was a comfortable bus that took us and n the tour. The tour guide was enthusiastic and we'll informed. The schedule was comfortable and stress free with ample time to explore on our own. Overall, a great trip.
We enjoyed a very interesting and easy going walking tour of Cambridge city and King’s Chapel with our guide. Thankyou for sharing your passion with us, Sonia, especially in the inclement weather conditions.
