A lovely day spent exploring the island with our very knowledgable driver and guide Rui. We got to see parts of the island we wouldn’t otherwise have been able to, including some fun off roading. We were lucky to have great weather and the views were fantastic. The wine tasting at both locations was lovely, and the tour of the vineyard was great, what an amazing place to sample wine and enjoy the views. We did come away with a bottle or two, but there was no pressure to buy. The Land Rover was good fun and having a driver who knew the roads so well and could discuss the history and the sights was brilliant. I would highly recommend- we have only been here for a few days on a short break and this trip has made the holiday. Thank you.

Fantastic informative trip. Kris from Belgium was the perfect driver/host and we learned so much from him. He was good fun and we also have 6 other great people in our lane rover which made the trip so much more fun. The Poncha visit and off-roading were the highlights, along with Kris as well. A very worth while 4 hour trip and I’d recommend it to anyone as a great way to see the island.

Paulo “Passion” was passionate about Madeira and it came easy for him to share this with our small band of Jeep novices. He was thoughtful with breaks and even extended our time with him until 3! His tour is just one of the many reasons we can easily see ourselves returning to Madeira.

Great tour into village where W. Churchill spent holiday in 1950, visited Cabo Girão, offroad track, nice viewpoints and experienced local drinks of Poncha at local bar plus Madeira wine.

First time in Maderia, the tour gives you a good feel for the island, enjoyed the off-road section. Next excursion will be more wine tasting.
