This tour was really a good value, especially considering the personal pickup, the small group and the distance covered. The group had a lot of fun visiting the highlights of Girona, Pals and Calella de Palafrugell. Anatoli speaks as quickly as he walks so pay attention; he has a lot of ground to cover. Aside from this special trip to Barcelona’s nearby towns, we got some good tips on where to eat while in Barcelona. Anatoli cares that you enjoy the day. He also loves good food and introduced us to a Girona specialty, Xuixo. If you want to know what that is, take the tour.

This is a great small group tour! We visited Girona, Costa Brava and Pals. Picked and dropped us off our hotel. And the van was very comfortable Matt was our tour guide/driver/photographer/entertainer . He spoke with great knowledge about the places we visited. You can tell that he loves what he does it with all energy and joy. A great itinerary and a awesome guide was a perfect recipe for a memorable experience!

Fantastic day, so interesting and perfectly planned. Our guide Anatoli was full of interesting stories and info and so great about meeting our group’s diverse needs. At one point a traveler felt a little car sick and he swung into action, immediately finding a way to help her feel better. He also navigated an unexpected hiccup (a race that closed roads in Girona) and still gave us a full tour, not missing a beat.

All the areas we visited were very interesting. Our guide, Tony, had a terrific knowledge of the history of all areas and most of the buildings beginnings and builders. Great long day but it didn’t feel that long.

The trip was excellent, and our guide Manu was well informed and a true gentleman
