Board the boat at Vieux-Port, in front of Marseille’s city hall. Enjoy fruit juice and coffee served by the crew. Then set sail for the Bay of Marseille. Hear about the area's history and local culture from the crew on board. Anchor near a rocky inlet called a calanque, and go snorkeling in the crystal clear waters. Around midday break for an aperitif, and an exquisite lunch buffet made from organic, seasonal local produce. Enjoy two glasses of rosé with your meal. After lunch, continue to the Riou Archipelago and stop at a second scenic spot to swim and take in the scenery. You will then start heading back to the Vieux-Port. Learn about the city's history and its main monuments on your way to the national park. Arrive at the gates of Calanques, la Baie des Singes (Monkeys Bay). Follow the scenic passage between Maïre Island and the Croisette Cap. Start your boat trip along Calanques's 20-kilometer (12-mile) stretch of coastline, between the village of Les Goudes and the town of Cassis. Admire the majestic scenery, from the limestone cliffs overlooking untouched inlets to the tiny fishing ports dotted with little cabanons (traditional Provençal cabins). During the boat tour, enjoy free to swim and explore the underwater world, as well as rest and have a pleasant lunch onboard. See why Calanques got its name from the Provençal word, "calanco", for a valley carved by a river before reaching the sea and discover the park's caves. See the paleolithic Cosquer Cave, the Blue Grotto, and the Capelan Cave. Spot the numerous fossils encrusted in the limestone.  Learn about how the fossils were formed one hundred million years ago with the accumulation of sediment in the seabed and then pushed up during the Tertiary Period, when the Alps took shape. Look at how erosion has accentuated rocky rifts and given birth to the rugged landscape you see today.

At 1 PM, you'll arrive at the meeting point Quai d’honneur in front of Marseille’s main city hall. Then, you'll depart, crossing the Bay of Marseille in the local partner's comfortable hybrid electric boat. Hear about the cultural aspects of the area from your captain, who is also your tour guide. You'll soon reach the gates of the Calanques, la 'Baie des Singes' (The Monkey's Bay). This amazing passage between Maïre Island and the Croisette Cap is the start of the National Parc des Calanques, a national park since 2012. The Calanques covers a 20-kilometer stretch of coastline between the village of Les Goudes and the town of Cassis. It's one of the most remarkable sites in France and an important area for natural heritage and sporting activities. Once you reach a nice spot, anchor and go for a swim in the heart of the Calanques. The setting is truly majestic with limestone cliffs, untouched inlets, and tiny fishing ports dotted with 'cabanons' (typical provençal cabins). Afterwards you'll return to the port, arriving around 6 PM.

The Corbières marina has a dry dock section and an infrastructure for parking boats during the winter months. Enjoy a beautiful sunny day with our skipper on the Mediterranean, discovering the most beautiful sites of the Côte Bleue and the Calanques, starting with l'Estaque, just an hour from Marseille, and fill up with discoveries and memories aboard our fabulous catamaran. The skipper will also show and teach you the basics of handling and navigating a boat. There is no charge for this tour, so please come dressed comfortably.
