A long day but worth it. A lot of time waiting in the airport and staff there are rude but Sawad, our tour guide, and driver were fantastic with us all day! He had a fatherly approach to making sure we were always ok and looked out for us with our best interest at heart, explained everything and answered questions, great personality. We felt very safe. There’s an additional price to pay to see the pyramids from a distance - I would recommend but prepare yourself for annoying hustlers. In the scroll and perfume shop you think you’re being told processes and history of such products but really they’re deceiving you in to buying them. If you don’t buy they seem bitter. Nothing seems to comes from a genuine place in Egypt communication - besides with Sawad. Boat along Nile cost more than expected and I saw a lot of flies on the food at lunch, it made me sick. The plane journey back was awful due to stomach cramps. Some hygiene issues and additional costs but overall 100% recommend Sawad.

Excellent overall experience. We were picked up from the Airport hotel after flying into Cairo the evening before. Everything went very smooth. The vehicle was well kept and clean. Water and a small breakfast snack was provided. Tour guide made the Drive interesting by pointing out the sites along the way to the pyramids. We were even able to stop to get a picture overlooking the Nile. We opted for the private photographer and it was money well spent. We did the camel ride and it was excellent. I’ll be booking again next year so other family members can have the same experience.

My guide Mahmoud was excellent, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He gave great recommendations and tips for where to buy souvenirs, good restaurants on different budgets, and how to haggle in the bazaar. The tour takes a leisurely pace with plenty of time in the Citadel and museum as well as optionsl stops for tea and shopping after lunch and heading to Khan El-Khalili in the afternoon. I would highly recommend this tour and Mahmoud as a guide, this was my first day in Cairo and it made for a great introduction.

This was amazing! My guide Esraa was awesome, I instantly felt comfortable with her being a solo female traveler. She made sure to explain everything and ensure I knew what to expect every step of the way! Would def recommend!
