We had a fantastic day for our Pyramids tour with Salib, our guide and Essam our driver. We went for a day trip first to Saqqara, next to Dahshur and after a deli lunch to Gizeh and the Sphinx. Salib explains at the differents sights every important fact you need to know about ancient Egypt. A total plus is that Salib knows his ways even when there are crowds of tourists and he will find a quiet place where you have the impression of being alone there. You have questions? Salib will definetely answer them with his great knowledge of history. We traveled in a very convenient bus with Essam. Despite heavy traffic Essam stayed calm and we felt totally safe with him. Essam waited every time right at the exit so you can just jump on the bus to continue the tour. 10 points for Salib and Essam out of 10. Christian and Sami

From the beginning I had great communication with Salib. He patiently waited for us as our sleeper train was very late to arrive making us almost an hour late to meet him at our hostel. He was an excellent tour guide and we felt very informed of the pyramids. He even got us breakfast sandwiches and waters which we were grateful for after our long trek to get to Cairo. I would definitely recommend booking your tour here and asking for Salib!

We had an excellent tour of the pyramids with Salib. We started with Sakkara. During the journey there, he gave us a potted history of ancient Egyptian history, filling us in on important dynasties and pharoahs. It was perfectly timed so that by the time we arrived, we were more in the know and able to better appreciate our surroundings. He seemed very knowledgeable and informed us of a lot of things, yet gave us time on our own to explore and contemplate. The only thing to be aware of is, as with many tours in Egypt, we were asked to visit a shop so that some people could sell us local goods. This is not advertised, and the companies try to draw you in that way, but when we commented that we weren't interested, to his credit, Salib didn't pursue the matter and we were able to get on with our history exploration.
