This was an amazing experience! I had a completely different tour fall through and last minute decided to add this one and I’m so glad I did! Mahmoud was an awesome guide and showed me so much in one day. I’ll definitely be back to do a multi-day trip in the desert!

This experience is a must! We did the day trip to the White, Black and Crystal Dessert from Cairo but I would highly recommend that you do a multi day tour. One day is too limited time to take in all the nature's beauty and the driving hours are long, about 4 hours each way. Such a pure and beautiful place. Also, the guide Mahmoud is very friendly and accommodating person. We was very kind to me while I was recovering from food sickness. I wish we had more time to enjoy the gorgeous nature's wonder! Just do it and embrace this wondeful experience!

Absolutely amazing experience.. we travelled all the way from Ireland to visit Egypt.. the desert is a must do experience... the views are breathtaking and we really enjoyed our trip ..We were two Female Travellers and we felt very safe with our guide Omar and Tamer .. one of our guides lived near Bahayria oasis and had great knowledge of places to visit in the desert.. we were so glad we got this trip done in one day as we didnt have enough time to camp over night..the food provided was gorgeous also.. I would wear good shoes for walking the desert especially if you want to climb in the black desert hills.. also it can get a little cold .. we took this trip the end of November..during the day weather is warm and beautiful but after sunset it gets a little chilly..very important bring nothing of great value to desert ..use photocopy of your passport to bring....only bring very small quantities of cash ..enough for tipping if you wish... highly recommend this trip ...
