What people are saying about Cairo Citadel

Overall rating

4.5 / 5

based on 554 reviews

The driver, Adham, arrived a few minutes early and we set off to pick up the most helpful of guides who was called Amir. Amir guided me through the tour of the Museum of Egyptian Civilisation, except the tour of the mummies for which I was guided through the white arrows on the floor. Amir was very knowledgeable and obviously knew his history. The tour of the citadel and Old Cairo was made more familiar with Amir's wealth of knowledge. He even took photographs for me and of me because I have a shaky hand and I find it hard to use the camera phone. . Overall the experience for me was undeniably pleasant and I could not but highly reccommend the driver Adham and the most pleasant, knowledgeable , and helpful Amir. They were the best

This trip delivered as described. The highlight was our excellent Guide - Sayed - who had great knowledge, good english and was just pleasant company. For all of these GYG Trips, it's the individual Guide who is the differentiator. Based on our needs, our Guide suggested going to The Egyptian Museum instead of the Egyptian Civilisation Museum. It was no problem to swop and made a good improvement to our day. We opted to have the Entrance paid in advance. The transport and place for lunch were both good. Communication from Ocean before and after the Trip was excellent. Whilst not 'cheap', we'd Recommend this Trip with this Operator and Sayed as the Guide.

Hello, it's 5 out of 5. The pick up and drop off was on time. The itinerary was flexible to our liking. The attractions were cool and we really had a nice time. The guide, Ahmed, was patient and gave us enough time in each attraction. Ahmed was nice and chill throughout the tour. He answered our questions about history. He also took us to a very good restaurant inside Khan El Khalil. The food was top notch! Bonus: we discovered a nice sandwich snack called Domty through Ahmed. We are bringing home some packs. We really enjoyed our tour in Old Cairo. Thank you!!!

Maram was outstanding, he went above and beyond to make sure that my wife and I were comfortable and care for. He is very knowledgeable and explain Egyptian history in such a way that it makes sence and uts easy to understand. I will definitely recommend his services to anyone

Very nice experience. Randa was my guide for the day - she is flexible, patient and she made the Bazar experience as fun as it could be :) As a solo traveller, I totally recommend it.
