Covid-19 Update

Due to health and safety regulations, this itinerary may change. See Know before you go for the latest updates.

Expert canopy guides will teach you all you need to know about ziplines and your equipment before you’re transferred to the Welcome Center, where a safety briefing will be conducted. When you reach the first platform, you’ll be ready to face the challenge of flying from one platform to the next. You’ll be safely attached to the double line cables, the longest of which spans 800 meters. The combined tour comprises 8 ziplines, including the 2 longest lines in the Caribbean that stretch across a 2-kilometer span in the mountains. Race your partner as you travel on side-by-side cables! This full-day (9-hour) trip also includes a visit to Monkeyland, where you can interact with the friendly squirrel monkeys. Nestled in the mountains of Anamuya, Monkeyland offers a chance to observe the monkeys in their natural environment. The monkeys have become totally trusting of humans in this 5-acre environment. They will climb down from the trees to sit on your shoulder and eat from your hand. Take note, though that they love anything shiny and will want to check out jewelry and sunglasses! Afterwards, on a visit to Coconut House, you’ll learn how coconuts become coconut oil and also have a chance to taste local organic products.

We had a fabulous time doing the duel trip or Zipline and monkey land tour. Transportation picked us up right at our hotel and got to the park at a reasonable time. The Zip lines were great, 12 total! (Some high and long others short and quick). Our guides name was Melvin-he was wonderful. Very enthusiastic, energetic, funny, and knowledgeable. After ziplining some of the other guides help describe some local products which you get to try and buy some souvenirs if you want. The last part of the day was our favorite, the enclosure with the small monkeys was awesome! They jump and crawl all over you. You have lots of time in the large area with them (probably 45 minutes!) and you get to take your own pictures and videos. The guides take your picture with a beautiful backdrop for a small charge. All in all this was a great day- highly recommend!!

In general, the activity went very well. The driver Juan was punctual and our guide Miguel gave us lots of information about the country. The zip line circuit is sporty but it's worth it. The equipment and platforms are in good condition and secure so go there without fear ;) The tour at Monkeyland was quick but fun, the monkeys are so cute. The only downside is the locker that you have to rent for 10 dollars twice because bags are prohibited for both activities. You pay $10 and they give you $5 back when you return the keys. So plan $20 minimum for the lockers. The photos are super expensive for what it is. But in the end it was a pleasant day.
