From Krakow: Zakopane and Thermal Pools Tour

1. From Krakow: Zakopane and Thermal Pools Tour

Start with pickup from your hotel, apartment, or other place of your choice in Krakow at the time you specify. From there the duration of the trip from Krakow to Zakopane is approximately 2 hours. About 20 minutes from Zakopane lies the town of Chochołów. This village is famous for its wooden houses which look almost identical. Settlers have traditionally washed the wooden walls of buildings with soap, which happens twice a year in the periods before Christmas and Easter. Thanks to this cleaning, the buildings that are many years old look like new. In the vicinity of Chochołów there are places where highlanders produce sheep's cheese traditional to this region of Poland. This cheese is called "Oscypek", and as part of your trip you you learn of its production history whilst tasting it. The town of Zakopane is the capital of the Polish mountains. Each year, this place attracts many tourists who want to experience the unique style of Górlaskie culture, which is expressed through architecture, food, music, style of speech, and clothing. In the town center lies "Krupówki" Street, and you will be given time for independent exploration and a possible lunch. This street is the market square of Zakopane, where you can find many good restaurants which serve local food, as well as souvenir shops. Zakopane also boasts cable-car access, and from the top of the "Gubałówka" Mountain you can glimpse the Polish Tatra Mountains. After exploring Zakopane and the surrounding area, your driver will transport you to the thermal pools in Bukowina Tatrzańska. Whilst there, relax and feel the health properties of thermal water. The admission ticket to the Bukovina Thermal Pools includes themed areas for children and adults so that everyone can enjoy their time equally.  After returning to the parking lot, your driver will take you to your desired location in Krakow.

Extremely recommended tour !!! Although the tour lasted all day, the tour was not heavy at all. First stop Chocolow, a small village with characteristic wooden houses, typical of the mountains. Nearby, a few minutes away, we made a short stop with tastings of typical cheeses and a 40 degree but pleasant shot. From there we then headed to Zakopane. Take the cable car and get to 1700 meters, have lunch overlooking the snow-capped mountains really wonderful !!! It was quite cold but we warmed up with a glass of hot beer / mulled wine. Then we had time to take a tour of the village which was really enjoyable! From there then we headed to the spa, a must-do stop! The spas of Zakopane include sauna, indoor and outdoor pools with possible soaking… a true paradise !!! We then returned around 8 pm. Gregory was our driver who always gave us exhaustive information on the different places visited and was always able to satisfy us.

Our driver was polite, punctual and knowledgeable about the area we visited. We went in early December and it was thick snow with stunning scenery both from the mountain tops and in the town itself. its almost post card perfect and great for those instagram snaps! The cheese tasking was a nice addition; not only getting to see how the cheese is made locally - and it really is a "cottage industry" - but also getting to taste it as the locals eat it was a welcome addition. Finally the thermal Spa.... Best way to end the trip. You get plenty of time here - we jad about 3 hours - and the combination of the thermal pools with swim up bar and incredible mountain views is well worth it. The whole bus pretty much slept all the way home we were that relaxed

Absolutely brilliant! Such a great day on Saturday, better than expected. Our tour guide Marious was amazing, he went above and beyond throughout the day. I would definitely recommend to book this attraction. The scenery, the cable car, the thermal baths, cheese trying were all fabulous! Picked up from our hotel and dropped back off. Brilliant day with brilliant service! Thankyou so much

Our driver Gregor was amazing, lovely guy and top knowledge. All the little parts of the trip made it a great experience and to finish off at the spa was the icing on the cake. Would 10000% recommend this trip

excellent professionalism perhaps too much ... wonderful places; Driver Very helpful even after my 2 delays The only flaw you go a bit too fast from one place to another but it's worth it
