Interesting tour, but not a walking tour
This tour incorporated an interesting whistle-stop tour of the Jewish Museum, The Dohany Synagogue, cemetery and Holocaust memorial site. The tour guides were knowledgeable and educated in their topics and we were pleased we joined a tour, The tour was not a walking tour and the title was misleading.
Very complete overview of Budapest's influent Jewish past.
An introduction to the History of Budapest and its Jewish past, followed by a visit to the Synagogue - remember to cover legs and shoulders... - to the Jewish Museum and Cemitery. Very interesting, even for non-Jewish visitors as ourselves!
Our guide Oresi was excellent! Knowledgeable and interesting and happy to answer any questions. The only thing to make it better is to make it easy to find her at the beginning of the tour with a sign or flag.

The only negative was the guide in the museum. The getyourguide could not be the guide in the museum. The museum guide spoke quickly and his english was difficult to understand. The getyour guide was terrific.
Very informative and interesting tour that provides insights into Jewish life during the Nazi and Soviet era’s and the present day tributes.
