Enjoy a private guided tour of the stunning city of Budapest, and get to know the city’s secular history as you visit both the Buda and Pest sides. Begin the day in the city downtown, and cross the Széchenyi Chain Bridge to visit the hilly Buda side. Walk through the beautiful Castle District the Gothic-style Matthias Church and the Fisherman’s Bastion. Continue the tour with a drive up the next hill to the lush Gellért Hill, and admire the Citadel on the top before continuing the tour to the Pest quarter on the east side of the river. Visit the Central Market Hall to discover the freshest Hungarian food, and then continue on to the National Museum and the Jewish Quarter. Next, take the Andrássy Avenue pass by the fascinating State Opera House, stopping for a visit at the impressive Heroes' Square. Continue on with a walk through City Park, pass Vajdahunyad Castle, and visit St. Stephen’s Basilica. End the tour at the city center after a visit to Kossuth Square and the Hungarian Parliament. A super guide tour through the whole of Budapest! You only want to see the specific place, but we asked the guide to show us where he recommended. Got to see an insane amount and hear a lot of history in a short time. Really to recommend before getting the most out of the city!

Superlative!

Our personal tour guide, Nora, is amazing; she is one of the warmest, intuitive people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Nora warmly greeted me and my fiancé at our hotel, escorting us to her spacious car - water provided. During the ride, she pointed out sites of interest and natural beauty, allowing us at various stops, to stretch our legs and explore; the experience was enriched by Nora's vast wealth of knowledge and her ability to seamlessly switch between factoids, history, and more personal, casual conversation. Nora truly made our experience in Budapest, so magical! She is hands down, the best tour guide I have ever had, and a kind, intelligent and genuine person! Although we only spent a few hours in her company, I can honestly say that I miss her warmth and authenticity.

I came to Budapest with my parents and I booked this tour with Gabriel as we wanted to make the most of our time in Budapest with a guide. Thanks to Gabriel we had the most unforgettable experience due to his knowledge, experience and enthusiasm that allowed us to learn so much about the history of Budapest and admire its beauty even more.
