The basilica is absolutely beautiful. The very talented musicians were amazing, and the opera singer had the most heavenly voice. My sister and I chose this activity to try something new and different, and we were not disappointed. One of those experiences when you feel like life is wonderful. I’d definitely go again, and this experience has ignited a love for classical music.

I had seen the event advertised and I thought that I had always wanted to watch a classical concert. Set in the lovely basilica, it seemed like an ideal chance. The seats were in 3 categories, but as it was a musical concert, unless you want to get close and personal with the performers, category C is fine. However it is church pews/chairs so sitting for over an hour can be tough on the bum (I am not a church goer so no idea if it is normal to sit for that long!) The event started just after 8 and there were a number of performers. As I had booked online, there was no opportunity for me to receive a programme, and except the four numbers I knew, I had no idea what was being performed. I think if you bought at the venue you got a programme. Lots of lovely music and singing, and the acoustics make it worthwhile. Please don't be someone who has to record everything on your phone - where I was sat, it meant I watched the event through 5 phones. It was a lovely way to spend my birthday.

The concert ticket was purchased online. The cost, I think, is overpriced (the cheapest will cost 34 euros). It is better to come in advance, and to admire the interior, and to take a seat in your sector closer. The acoustics are designed for the sound of the organ, you can hear it well everywhere, but the rest of the instruments or the voice sound a little strange, as for my taste. As if from afar, although this is so, when you sit quite far from the performers, and the sound, as it were, dissipates, ceases to be directed, as is usually the case in a concert or opera hall. But in general, I was satisfied with both the place and the performers. After the concert, which lasts a little over an hour, there is time to walk around the night Pest.
