Full description
Departing from Old Town by tube, you will visit the oldest and most beautiful cemetery in town. The cemetery is an open-air museum, which is comparable to Père Lachaise or High Gate. Enchanted in the rapture of its mysterious stories, you'll take a turn through a lively park little known to tourists but cherished by locals. Following that you'll discover the oldest train station in Romania, which is not too far away from the former Kgb headquarters. You’ll then take a break at an old factory which has since been turned into a cultural hub and is the perfect spot for quirky souvenirs and local traditional bites. Lastly, you’ll be shown a secret passage to an old Mahalla, which is the oriental term for "neighborhood".

Mircha was an amazing host. He gave an interesting insight in the cemetery as well as the other historic parts of the city. The highlight for me was the visit at Fabrica. This is very authentic artistic setting where we ate delicious “micii” small grilled meat and eggplant salad. I would highly recommend this tour if you want something out of the ordinary and more authentic experience.
