Full description
After a drive to the German border, you'll reach the beautiful landscapes of the Eifel mountain region and make the first stop at Monschau,  a small, historic town in the German Eifel mountain region. The narrow, cobblestoned streets and traditional half-timbered houses have made this charming place one of the main tourist attractions of the region. During your free time in the cozy alleys, you can taste and buy the local Aachner Printen. Next, it's time to head to the vibrant city of Cologne. Cologne has so much to offer. After lunch, you'll start the walk in the heart of the old city. Some of the highlights of the tour include the cathedral, the City Hall, the Roman walls, the banks of the Rhine and the world famous Eau de cologne 4711. Then there will be free time in the shopping streets of the old town. Don't forget to try the famous 'Kolsch' beer before you leave.

The tour guide was brilliant, knowledgeable and obviously passionate about what he does. Even though we had a dreadful woman on our walking tour of Cologne who kept stopping to have selfies in front of everything causing him to be constantly looking for her as she kept getting lost from the group and repeating himself he maintained his composure(I definitely couldn’t if I was in his shoes) and stayed warm and approachable. If you’re going in winter make sure you wrap up as it was absolutely freezing in Monschau.
