Ferry was great, was a nice calm day for us. Lovely staff, bring your own snacks/drinks. Moreton Island was beautiful. Currents were extremely strong at the shipwreck, glad I left my son’s life jacket on and held onto him the whole time as even as a swim teacher with fins I was no match for the current. Not for beginners! Parasailing enjoyed by teenage daughter and dad. Kayaking and snorkelling awesome, equipment could use some repairs as handles all broken on kayaks no help given to carry to/from water. Altogether a wonderful experience for families!

Boat on time, it was clean and pleasant, we saw dolphins once close to the island, the island is incredible transparent water, white sand beach, we had a beautiful day What I liked less , once on the island your guide takes you to tables and you have to wait for your turn to deposit the 50S for the equipment and we had to wait more than 30min… We wanted towards the end of the day to kayaking but the lady at the reception saw that we didn't speak English very well but she chained us, without showing us anything we had to manage on our own to find the vests etc... We had bags we didn't know where to put them, a bit of a hassle (our bags were with us) then we realized that once we got back there were lockers further away for things…. But otherwise it was really cool :)

It can be an early morning just to get to the jetty but it was definitely worth the trip. Booking with GetYourGuide made it very easy and convenient since their packaged included with a few hires. Extra activities can be booked on the island and it wasn’t too expensive and worth the price.
