Bridge of Sighs, Oxford: Tours & Tickets
What people are saying about Bridge of Sighs, Oxford
It was enjoyable to have an alumna guide who knew about life at Oxford Uni but the group, at 15 was too large. My teens would have liked a bit more info on where Harry Potter was filmed. It would have been good to go inside the colleges but this was not possible due to Covid however we did go into the Divinity room which was beautiful.. The guide was happy to answer any questions and was very amenable.
Rainy day, but nice, as it was quiet. Edward, our guide was excellent. He paced the tour well, described what we saw and gave some ideas where to go after the tour. We went to The Turf Tavern for a beer, and had cup of coffee in the Congregation room. Edward answered all our questions, told us interesting anecdotes, and also included just enough personal information to make Oxford more interesting.
Our tour was interesting, but I would have enjoyed hearing more anecdotes about the past and present alumni father than just a list of who studied where.
Excellent and informative guide. Wish we could have gone in a college but understand that at present things are not as normal
Enjoyable, entertaining, educational. Could have walked further, but considering the constraints of Covid, good value.
