Sample the non-pasteurized craft beers with unique flavors you could taste blindfolded. Drink like a local, standing on the street in front of the brewery, and listen as your guide shares stories of the local beer culture. Learn the answers to the eternal questions: Why is Altbier not an old beer? What or who is a Köbes? Why you don't have to order beer in Düsseldorf? Why are the glasses so small? Where is the "longest bar in the world"? Where did the Neandertaler get its name? Afterwards, make new friends and reserve a table at one of the breweries, where your tour will end on a high note.

OMG what a fun evening and what a fun group. I highly recommend this tour. It's not a lot about beer making, but it is interesting learning about the breweries in Duesseldorf which have been around for almost 200 years!! Not a lot of walking and just a really nice bunch. We were out until 1am!!

Alina was an excellent tour guide! She was very knowledgeable about the Altbier culture and was able to give us tips on how to order like a local. I would highly recommend doing this tour to get acquainted with the culture before venturing out on your own.

Miguel was amazing such a great engaging guide. Really enjoyed my tour and would recommend for other visitors to the city. Thanks so much!
