Travel back in time to discover 2 of the oldest cities in Portugal and see historic monuments existing side by side with modern-day life. Choose a guided public or private tour according to your preferences. Following pick-up from your hotel in Oporto, begin the day by visiting Braga, nicknamed the "Rome of Portugal" for its rich culture and traditions. See the emblematic squares and churches of Portugal's oldest city, along with monuments such as the Sé Cathedral, Bom Jesus Sanctuary and Sameiro Sanctuary. After visiting the monuments in Braga, delight yourself with the delicious dishes of Portugal in a typical restaurant of the city of Braga (The guide will inform you about the dishes available on the day of the visit) Then travel to the medieval city of Guimarães, considered the "Cradle of Portugal." Walk the streets of the historic district and visit the main attractions and monuments, such as the Palace of the Dukes, Guimarães Castle and S. Miguel Chapel.

Despite the rainy day the guide José, did everything possible to meet our expectations. At the beginning of the tour we were full of questions about what the tour would be like due to constant rain and at the end we had our intergations answered in a positive way. We recommend the tour.

a trip "out of Porto" not to be missed !!!

If you have at least three days to visit Porto, you cannot miss this trip out of town! perfectly organized with hotel pick-up and guided tour in beautiful villages near Porto. (To reach them by public transport would take much longer). Efficiency and 24h availability made this tour possible despite the misunderstandings about arriving in Portigallo.

Definitely worth a visit!

We had Rui as our guide and he is a great guy! He came and picked us up on time, is really friendly, knowledgeable and made our trip fun. If you have a spare day in Porto, it's worth going to these two places. Wear comfy shoes though, there is a lot of walking :) Enjoy! Thanks again Rui!
