2. From Sinj: 30-Minute Private Flight over Split & Solin

This route starts by taking off from Sinj airport, flying over the city of Sinj and the beautiful field of Sinj. This paradise of water, fields, and stone hides some of the most endemic species of flora and fauna in Croatia. Landscapes and underground of the Cetina River are rich with everlasting, sage, heather, and thyme. You might even see the Sinj fortress which was historically a very important location. Heading on to Split where you'll be flying over Klis fortress. On the cliffs between Mosor and Kozjak stands the Klis fortress. It was built on an extraordinary strategic location that allowed military control over the Klis valley. Klis fortress has been beautifully preserved in whole. Split is the second biggest city in Croatia and the largest ferry port. It is the cultural and economic center of the region. Largest green surface in Split, Marjan was declared a Park Forest in 1964. According to archaeological findings, it was inhabited as early as prehistory. Pieces of prehistoric pottery were found here. Also discovered are remnants of the temple of Diana – the goddess of the hunt. Until the 15th century, Marjan was covered with forest. Due to expansions of settlements, wars, and Turkish conquests, arson, and clearing, Marjan became a barren wasteland in only two centuries. Reforestation commenced by planting the first pines in 1852. As years passed, the forest was renewed and the animals returned. The first sea aquarium was founded on Marjan in 1928. After flying over Split the end of your flight will take you over the small town of Solin. Solin was the capital of Roman providence. What people are saying about Brac Island

My daughter and I had an amazing tour with Marin, just us two and it was a real treat! Marin was an excellent driver who shared with us interesting facts about the history and culture of the island and was attentive to our questions. We saw the olive oil museum where the guide there was fantastic and the oil very tasty, went through villages and saw the Brac bonsai church, went through the national park Vidova Gora and at the highest point of the island with views on Zlatni Rat Beach and the surrounding islands (Vis, Hvar and others), swam in Zlatni Rat Beach (refreshing but still worth it), had a fantastic lunch in an authentic Mediterranean house with a friendly atmosphere and excellent food, and lastly we saw a quarry with the island’s famous limestone. Overall a fantastic experience which was intimate and by the end we almost felt like friends! It was wonderful to have a local show us the island and we wouldn’t have been able to see everything without the jeep. Highly recommend!

My 6 year old son and I were the only ones on the tour with Tino. It was a fantastic day and I’m so glad that we did it. Tino was an absolutely amazing driver and guide - he provided lots of detailed history and information throughout the day but also went above and beyond in making the various stops extra interesting and relevant for my son. The jeep itself was loads of fun, and lunch was delicious and our hosts were so friendly (and what a beautiful, tranquil spot). I’d highly recommend this to anyone - it was an unforgettable day!

It was a really good tour. The meal was at a Croatian home and the food was excellent. The olive museum was worth a visit. Great day out.

Trip was great. Guide was very knowledgeable. Great views. Enjoyed the olive oil museum most. Lunch was yummy.

Tino was an amazing guide. This is a must do tour with amazing views and authentic food!
