Historic Pub Crawl Tour along the Freedom Trail

1. Historic Pub Crawl Tour along the Freedom Trail

Wander along the same cobblestone streets as Paul Revere once did, pass through bustling markets where Sam Adams peddled the idea of revolution. Visit historic bars that have been frequented by Bostonians for hundreds of years. Revisit the story of America's birth and raise a glass as you learn the importance of beer in the founding of America. This historic pub crawl reveals hidden history about the events leading up to the revolutionary war and takes you where it all started: taverns. The four historic taverns visited on the tour are in the Faneuil Hall area and provide a wonderful backdrop as expert guides tell stories about Boston's rebellious past that helped lead to America's independence. Each tavern dates back at least to the 1800's, several even further which includes America's oldest tavern! At each tavern your guide will recommend beer as unique as the history of the city. Most of the beers are exclusively served in Boston and several can only be found in the taverns visited on the tour!

Dance to the upbeat music played live by a DJ on one of the largest and most spacious rooftop decks in Boston. Alternatively, sit back on the deck below, which is a quieter lounge with couch seating and outside access. Take in the club-like vibes and purchase your own drinks from one of the two full bars open on deck. Get lost in the music as you float along the harbor in the company of your friends.

Martin was amazing. We had a good group of 6 and it was so much fun and interesting. Very memorable experience hitting the two historic pubs and enjoying drinks and apps. Pace was perfect and it just felt like traveling the city with a group of good friends; enjoying the sights and sounds. We forgot about taking the ferry over to Charlestown. So glad we did as that helped us plan the rest of our stay.

Martin was super informative and fun. He had relationships with everyone at our destinations. We covered a lot of ground, but stopping at the taverns for food and drink made it relaxing. It was the perfect amount of history, sightseeing and drinking. It was great for our family with kids 21 & 24. Definitely recommend!
