Full description

Begin your bus tour of Cartagena in the tourist area of Bocagrande and Laguito. Afterward, head over to a popular neighborhood near the castle, pass through the bay area, and arrive at the famous statue of the Old Shoes honoring the Colombian poet Luis Carlos Lopez.

Visit the Castle of San Felipe, walk in the historic center, and see the cathedral and the Church of San Pedro Claver (the patron saint of slaves). Walk through the tropical fruit market and see Customs Square, where slaves were once auctioned.

If you have time to spare, do not hesitate to take these buses, which are not very comfortable for a 4 hour tour. We stopped 3 times for 15 to 25 minutes to take pictures for the Cartagena sign, the seaside apartment blocks and the copper shoes. Not interesting! The visit to the old town takes us directly into a jewelry shop to get a coffee. In addition we did not visit the beautiful neighborhood Too bad, the only interest was the visit to the San Felippe castle and the good explanation of the guide in Spanish and English.
