Step by step and sample by sample our professional beer taster takes you through the brewing process explaining what makes beer such a great drink which varies all around the world. Combining the typical Czech beer delicacies with the 11 finest Czech craft beers the Bohemian Craft Beer Tasting easily explaines all the magic behind the not-only Czech national drink! Do you know the difference between ales and lagers or stouts and porters? We will explain to you the deffinition of commercial and craft beers, how beer is brewed and how to taste beer. Your guide will shed light on czech brewing traditions that create such a wide and rich variety of our national drink! Whether you like it high on hops or malt, foamy, creamy, flavoured with cherry, light or dark- simply put: not all beers are created equal, we’ve got the very best from across Bohemia, and we serve them up to you together with typical savory beer delicacies.

Enjoy a full-day guided trip to Karlovy Vary, the most renowned and historical Czech spa town, with a visit to Moser Glassworks and the incredible reliquary of St. Maurus in Bečov Castle.  Travel from Prague for about 2 hours in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus to Karlovy Vary. This town was founded as early as 1370 by the mighty and powerful Czech emperor Charles IV and has 13 main hot springs and more than 300 smaller springs. Visit the town center’s ornamental spa buildings before visiting the most powerful spring, Vřídlo, which rises from a depth of 3000 meters and reaches a temperature of 73°C.   Then, visit the headquarters and museum of Moser Glassworks, one of the most famous glass manufacturers in Europe, founded in 1857. See breathtaking samples of contemporary and historical art glass exhibits and see how these articles are made.  After lunch in a charming local restaurant, continue on to the castle of Loket nad Ohří, a stunning medieval place that has been underestimated and forgotten. Admire the massive castle and the unique locations that became popular again through their appearance in the James Bond film “Casino Royale”. Finally, it’s time for the highlight of the tour. St. Maurus’s reliquary (a container for relics), housed inside Bečov Castle, is considered one of the most important historical items in the country and a priceless part of Czech cultural heritage. This is truly a sight to behold.  After admiring this priceless piece of history, you’ll return to Prague for about 7:00 PM.
